6.1.a RGPD).

Who is responsible
Lunupa is a service run by Timothy Birkl, based in Germany. He is responsible for the data described on this page. For any question about your data, write to hola@lunupa.com. Everything below is covered by the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
This site
lunupa.com sets no cookies and runs no analytics. Fonts are served from this domain, so opening the page sends no request to any third party.
The web server logs each visit: the page requested, the time, your browser, the page you came from and your IP address turned into a short code. We use this to keep the site secure and to count visits, which is our legitimate interest (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)). The log is deleted after 90 days.
The contact form
If you write to us through the form, we store what you put in it: your name, your clinic's name, your WhatsApp number and your message. It is only stored if you tick the consent box, so the legal basis is your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)). Without a name, a number and a message we cannot reply; the clinic name is optional. Your message reaches Timothy by email, sent through Resend; through Telegram he only gets a notice that a message arrived, without its content. We use it solely to answer your enquiry, and it is deleted once the conversation ends, at the latest after 12 months. You can withdraw your consent at any time by writing to the address above; this does not affect what was done before.
The demo
At demo.lunupa.com you can talk to a sample clinic's bot. What you type there is sent to Anthropic (USA) to generate the reply. The conversation lives in server memory and is discarded after an hour of inactivity.
The server also keeps the first 200 characters of each message and its reply, with a code derived from your IP address, and the first 60 characters in its technical log. It also keeps the questions the bot could not answer. This shows which clinics tried the demo and what the bot is missing, which is our legitimate interest (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)). All of it is deleted after 90 days.
Where the data is and who receives it
The server is run by DigitalOcean and sits in New York (USA). DigitalOcean is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, which the European Commission recognises as adequate protection.
Resend (USA) delivers the contact form messages by email and is also certified under that Framework. The email lands in Timothy's mailbox at Proton, in Switzerland, which the European Commission recognises as adequate.
Anthropic receives only the demo messages. That transfer relies on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses, which are part of its data processing agreement.
Each day a backup of the server is saved on Timothy's computer in Germany. Old backups are deleted after 90 days, so data deleted from the server can remain in a backup for up to 90 more days.
Your rights
You can ask to see your data, correct it, delete it, restrict its use or receive it in a format you can take to another service. You can also object to the uses based on our legitimate interest. Write to hola@lunupa.com.
If you think we handle your data wrongly, you can complain to a data protection authority, for example the one in the country where you live. The authority responsible for Lunupa is the Bavarian Data Protection Authority, Bayerisches Landesamt für Datenschutzaufsicht (lda.bayern.de).
Lunupa makes no automated decisions about you.
The service for clinics
When a clinic signs up, the handling of its patients' data is governed by the processing agreement with that clinic and by the data protection law of its country. Every clinic gets its own notice page at datos.lunupa.com, which the clinic publishes in its WhatsApp Business account profile.
